RTI and RTO Errors

For a signal chain (example above) you can refer the errors from each block either to the Input (vs) or the Output (vo3). There's advantages to both!

OFFSET RTI VS RTO

How do the Offset Errors from each circuit block impact the system spec? Typically, you’ve got two choices of where to scale the errors.

RTI Advantage:

RTO Advantage:

In this series we'll typcailly analyze the Offset Errors as RTI.

GAIN RTI VS RTO

The Gain Error does not require any referencing as RTI or RTO.

Why? Because Gain Errors as ratios are Multiplicative, the errors have the same impact at any other location in the chain. (Learn more.. coming soon!)
